National Border Patrol Council Endorses Addison McDowell for Congress

(Raleigh)- The National Border Patrol Council (NBPC) today endorsed Addison McDowell for North Carolina's 6th Congressional District.

“Border Patrol Agents are on the frontlines of the border crisis every day and know it is critically important to have people in Congress who will fight for the American people to secure our borders. After much deliberation, the National Border Patrol Council is confident Addison McDowell is that person in North Carolina's 6th U.S. Congressional District.
Addison has seen firsthand the devastating impact not securing our border can have on a family in North Carolina when he lost his brother to fentanyl likely smuggled into the U.S. from Mexico. Since that time, Addison has been working to understand the intricacies of border security and educate himself on what needs to be done to ensure this does not happen to another fellow American.
Addison understands the crisis at our southern border, and he will make the Border Patrol a top priority moving forward. For these reasons, The National Border Patrol Council is proud to endorse Addison for U.S. Congress and we encourage all who want to see the border crisis come to an end vote for the candidate we know will protect your interests and that of all Americans. Every county in this district is now a border county because of Joe Biden’s complacency. Addison McDowell has previously been endorsed by President Donald Trump, the North Carolina Troopers Association, the North Carolina Police Benevolent Association, Senator Ted Budd, and dozens of grassroots conservative leaders from across North Carolina.
The National Border Patrol Council (NBPC) is the exclusive representative of approximately 18,000 Border Patrol agents and support personnel assigned to the U.S. Border Patrol. The U.S. Border Patrol falls under the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Under DHS, the Border Patrol is under the direction of Customs and Border Protection (CBP).
