Veterans For America First Endorses McDowell
Pro-Trump Veterans Group Endorses Addison McDowell for US Congress
Fact: VFAF Endorsed Addison McDowell
Fake: VFAF Endorsed Mark Walker
March 1, 2024
(Arcadia) – Veterans for America First (VFAF)/Veterans for Trump today endorsed Addison McDowell for US Congress just days after being victimized by Mark Walker falsely claiming to have their endorsement. Despite being clearly and directly informed he has not been endorsed, Walker continues to abuse the VFAF logo in his campaign advertising, about as clear of a case of metaphorical stolen valor as voters might expect from someone like Walker who has announced numerous false endorsements throughout this campaign. (And, shhhh…don’t tell anyone, but let us know if you want an amateur – like reallllly amateur – video of Walker volunteers STILL HANDING OUT THE FAKE GAETZ ENDORSEMENT FLYERS for Walker at the polls yesterday.)
“Addison McDowell will fight for the people of NC and is the true America First candidate in the race,” said Stan Fitzgerald, VFAF Grassroots National President. “He will work to secure our Southern Border and he has our full support and endorsement.”
Addison McDowell has also been endorsed or supported by President Donald Trump, Senator Ted Budd, the NC Troopers Association, the NC Police Benevolent Association, and dozens of grassroots conservative organizations and elected office holders.
“I am proud to have the authentic endorsement of Veterans for America First,” said McDowell. “This group of freedom loving patriots have served to defend our nation, and don't want to see Joe Biden and his DC Democrats wreck our economy and our country. I’m honored to be the only America First candidate in this race endorsed by President Trump and VFAF.”
VFAF is a grassroots organization founded by veterans and first responders to promote a strong national defense, protect the rights of veterans and first responders, secure our borders, and support candidates who share the values of putting America first. VFAF’s mission is to honor the principles that have made our nation great: freedom, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, and to ensure that the voices of veterans and first responders are heard, and their needs are met.
